Born in Ibaraki in 1981, Yusuke Shirato enjoyed listening to classical music and started learning the piano in the early years of his life. During his high school years, he realized the joy of playing the drums as well as composing music and enrolled at the Tokyo College of Music. While he composed chamber music and orchestral music during his college days, he started playing the bass and worked as a bassist after his graduation. Now, he offers his music to various artists and plays the bass as well as the piano as a support member. He has a reputation for being a composer who can compose all genres of music, from Japanese anime music and idol songs that feature the piano and strings to a proper ballad. Using his wide knowledge of music, he offers not only songs but also soundtracks and commercial music.
